SAP RTR Functional Lead

System One is partnering with a client seeking an experienced SAP Finance expert to train and support their accounting/finance team during their SAP implementation. This contractor will provide hands‑on guidance in SAP Finance—especially Record-to-Report (RTR)—and help the team improve their understanding of financial processes, reporting, and system functionality.

• Train the Finance team on SAP Finance processes, RTR, and continuous close.
• Teach users how to read SAP reports and trace data back to transactions.
• Train on key Fiori apps for WIP, variance, and settlement.
• Support Project Systems and Revenue Recognition (milestone billing, WIP, inventory).
• Troubleshoot and explain SAP errors (COGI/NOGI).
• Assist with month‑end inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and COPA reporting.
• Strengthen user understanding of SAP data flows and financial outputs.

• Expert knowledge of SAP FICO and SAP Fiori (S/4
  
  HANA 2022).
• Experience as a controller or accountant managing full‑cycle close.
• Strong understanding of COPA, profitability reporting, and internal controls.
• Ability to resolve SAP error logs and support Project Systems/Revenue Recognition.

• Experience across multiple entities and SAP implementations.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting.
