** Senior Instructor – Navy Synthetic Warfighting Centre (NSWC)

** The Role We Are Offering You
** As a Senior Instructor at NSWC, you will:
* Supervise and manage the delivery of synthetic warfare training scenarios, including Advanced Tactical Training (ATT).
* Lead and mentor the NSWT delivery team, ensuring compliance with training standards and operational requirements.
* Plan and execute major synthetic events (LFE, ATT, SWIPE), filling key roles such as EXCON Director, Battle Management Coordinator, and Tactical Coordinator.
* Liaise with Defence agencies and coalition partners to align training objectives and capabilities.
* Provide recommendations to streamline processes and enhance training effectiveness.
** Our Ideal Candidate Has:
**** Essential:
*** 8–12 years of experience in naval operations and synthetic training environments.
* Familiarity with Naval Combat Management Systems (AEGIS and 9LV preferred).
* Strong understanding of RAN operational structure, war fighting principles, and doctrine.
* Experience with ADF operations and exercise requirements (minimum 10 years).
* Proven leadership experience managing teams of combat system operators.
** Desirable:
*** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* Background in roles such as Surveillance Control Officer, Fighter Controller, Air Combat Officer, or similar.
* Experience in intelligence coordination or tactical planning roles.
