** The Role We Are Offering You
** As an Assistant Instructor at NSWC, you will:
* Deliver advanced tactical training programs and synthetic warfare scenarios.
* Configure and operate combat system trainers, voice communications, and simulation networks.
* Support synthetic training events by emulating actions of aircraft and vessels in simulated environments.
* Assist with scenario design, database management, and exercise documentation.
* Collaborate with technical teams to validate systems and troubleshoot network issues.
** Our Ideal Candidate Has:
**** Essential:
*** Vocational or technical degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
* Familiarity with Naval Combat Management Systems (AEGIS and 9LV preferred).
* Strong understanding of RAN operational structure, war fighting principles, and doctrine.
* Experience with ADF operations and exercise requirements (minimum 5 years).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
** Desirable:
*** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* Background in roles such as Surveillance Control Officer, Fighter Controller, Air Combat Officer, or similar.
