DescriptionBuild the Product That Turns Frontline Troubleshooting Into Intelligence.
We’re not hiring just another product leader. We’re looking for the Product Co-Founder who will shape what Mechro becomes, turning messy customer reality into a focused roadmap, partnering deeply with engineering, and helping define the intelligence layer for the heavy‑equipment industry.
Mechro is a new AI‑native venture built inside Gitwit’s venture studio, already backed by investors and partnering with leading machinery manufacturers who are early adopters of our platform. Our mission is simple:
Turn frontline troubleshooting into a continuous learning system that makes machines smarter, support teams faster, and field operators more confident.
This role is for the product leader who wants to build something that actually gets used on job sites, in service bays, and by technicians diagnosing real machines every day.
What Mechro Is Building- Support teams overwhelmed with repetitive troubleshooting questions
- Tribal knowledge disappearing as senior technicians retire
- Field intelligence scattered across notebooks, calls, and inboxes
- Manuals that can’t keep up with real‑world scenarios
Mechro changes that. We’re building an AI troubleshooting platform that becomes the first line of diagnosis for distributors, support technicians, and field operators. Not a chatbot bolted onto a PDF, but a full‑stack product that captures manuals, service history, logs, field notes, and escalations while getting smarter with every interaction. Every solved issue improves the system. Every deployment compounds value for the manufacturer.
YourImpact as Co-Founder, Product
You will be the product cornerstone of Mechro.
You’ll own discovery, product strategy, and roadmap definition, working hand‑in‑hand with the founding engineer to turn real customer problems into enterprise‑ready solutions.
This role is perfect for someone who- Thrives in zero‑to‑one environments
- Loves discovery and hard prioritization
- Can bridge customers, engineering, and strategy
- Wants real ownership, not a feature factory
- Enjoys shaping both product and company direction
- Own Mechro’s product vision and 6–12 month roadmap
- Lead hands‑on customer discovery (interviews, site visits, pilot sessions)
- Translate discovery into clear product decisions, trade‑offs, and sequencing
- Partner closely with engineering to define requirements that respect integration, security, and deployment realities
- Design and run early pilots, defining success metrics and converting early adopters into references
- Establish feedback loops and instrumentation that improve the product over time
- Set the bar for what is custom work vs. platform investment
- Help recruit and onboard early contributors as the product function takes shape
- Proven zero‑to‑one product ownership with real enterprise or B2B users
- Strong technical‑product fluency (engineering background strongly preferred)
- Experience turning ambiguous discovery into focused roadmaps
- Comfort making hard prioritization calls and saying no
- Founder mindset with appetite for ambiguity and ownership
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing credibility
- Willingness to work on‑site in Tulsa, OK (Significant collaboration with on‑site customers and occasional travel may be required.)
- U.S. work authorization
- Experience with AI‑enabled or learning systems
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or field‑deployed products
- Familiarity with enterprise security, procurement, or IT/OT environments
- Prior founding or early‑stage startup experience
- Base Salary: $150,000–$175,000
- Founder‑level equity
- Relocation support
- Excellent health, vision, and dental
- 401(k) with match
- Generous PTO
- Cell reimbursement, parking stipend
- Weekly team lunches
- Dog‑friendly office
- Flexible, high‑autonomy culture
The manufacturers who win won’t just build better machines. They’ll own the intelligence layer that explains how those machines fail and how…
