About the RoleWe are looking for a Procurement Specialist / Buyer to support purchasing, procurement, and materials management activities. This role will work closely with buyers, engineers, project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to make sure materials are ordered, received, and available when needed. The role is a good fit for someone with experience in procurement, purchasing, materials, supply chain, or procure-to-pay operations, especially within oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities- Create and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts in Oracle.
- Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities from purchasing through invoice resolution.
- Track purchase orders, material requirements, deliveries, and supplier commitments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, engineers, project teams, and internal customers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchasing documentation, and material information.
- Assist with supplier bidding, purchasing reports, and supply chain activities.
- Research and resolve supplier, purchasing, receiving, and invoice-related issues.
- Follow up on orders to help ensure materials are delivered on time.
- Support day-to-day procurement and materials coordination activities.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, supply chain, or materials management.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing/procurement processes.
- Experience working with purchase orders, requisitions, receipts, invoices, or suppliers.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle ERP or similar procurement/ERP systems.
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Utilities, Construction, or Industrial environments.
- Experience purchasing Pipe, Valves & Fittings (PVF) or other industrial materials.
- Experience working with engineering, project, maintenance, or operations teams.
