As an Inbound Dock Supervisor you would oversee dock operations, supervise and coordinate the activities of dock associates assigned to the dock and/or yard, and oversee the routing of shipments and loading/unloading of freight. Establish necessary controls to ensure that pickup & delivery (P&D) units are closed at agreed‑upon times and special customer requests are handled on time. Ensure inbound close‑out is completed to maintain timeliness.

Your responsibilities include P&D loading—managing the number of stops, weight, and load conditions to meet error‑free standards. You will also practice an effective loss prevention plan in the Service Center, collaborating with personnel, cargo claims, or designated loss prevention staff, and applying process improvement methods for continuous measurable improvement. Additionally, you will plan the layout of warehouse and storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of stored items;

determine work procedures; prepare schedules; expedite workflow; assign duties; and examine work for exactness, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures. You will maintain focus on any significant risks and implement adequate controls.

For this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of dock or leadership experience, or completion of the company’s Management Training Program.
