• Provide vision and leadership for all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to GAAP and nonprofit standards.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning processes; perform scenario analyses to inform executive decision‑making.
• Review and present monthly and annual financial statements to senior leadership and the Board.
• Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and short‑term investments to optimize liquidity and returns.
• Oversee preparation and timely submission of all compliance filings, including Form 990, audits, and grant reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and coordinate all annual audit activities.
• Strengthen and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and risk management.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing accounting team, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
• Partner cross‑functionally on initiatives such as system upgrades, process improvements, and new program launches.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
  Master’s preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and internal control frameworks.
• Proven success managing budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and audit processes.
• Experience preparing or overseeing compliance filings (Form 990, grants, etc.).
• Strong ERP/GL system experience; new system implementation a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and change‑management skills.
