Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager (APM) to help deliver ground‑up and renovation projects across the commercial sector. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience who is ready to step into broader responsibility and fast‑track their career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and design partners to ensure work is executed in accordance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Manage project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
• Track cost reports and assist with monthly owner billings and financial forecasts.
• Support field teams with schedule updates, quality control measures, and material deliveries.
• Facilitate weekly OAC and subcontractor meetings, driving accountability and clear communication.
• Promote a culture of safety by enforcing company and OSHA regulations on site.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience on commercial construction projects such as retail, office, hospitality, light industrial, or education.
• Proficiency with Procore (or similar project management software), Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project delivery methods.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
