For our client, we are seeking a VP Transmission Projects West to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.
This senior leader will oversee major transmission project delivery across the western region, with responsibility for execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination. The role will partner closely with stakeholders to align budgets, schedules, safety, and performance expectations. It also carries a strong people leadership component, including mentoring project directors and managers while supporting strategic planning and forecasting for a large portfolio of projects.
Location:
Tulsa, OK - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $221,489 – $287,934 annually
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee project management policies and procedures
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
- Build partnerships with stakeholders for strategic project planning
- Ensure adherence to safety programs to maintain a zero-harm environment
- Control project activities to meet budgets and schedules
- Develop and mentor subordinate project directors and managers
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned projects
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a business-related field
- 15 years of relevant experience, including major construction projects
- Experience as a Project Director preferred
- 8 years of supervisory experience in project management
- PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory
