TAT Technologies Tulsa Site in Tulsa, OK is looking for an experienced Bench Mechanic / Air Test Pressure (ATP) Technician for our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) operations.
Responsibilities- Perform on‑site maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Assist in retaining and maintaining all on‑site records in both hard copy and electronic form
- Continuously update and utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism to allow for efficient maintenance planning and time‑limit item tracking
- Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances
- Manage material readiness, inventory and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts, and tooling
- Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair Manuals
- Other duties as assigned
- High School education or equivalent
- 2 or more years mechanical experience preferred
- Must be able to work 1st shift hours typically 6:30am to 3pm with overtime and weekends as business need demands
- Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance following new employee training
- Must have good command of the English language; oral and written
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to multi‑task and be detail oriented
- Must be able to display good judgement regarding quality & safety
- Must be willing and able to learn and apply new skills
- Working knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerances
- Must be able to perform physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have the ability to pass pre‑hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required by a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Must have the ability to pass pre‑hire background check screening
