Manufacturing ​/ Production Operator, Machine Operator

About the Position

As a Saw Operator at John Zink in Tulsa, OK, you’ll precisely measure and cut materials using band and horizontal saws while learning to operate lasers and CNC machines in our machine shop and assembly areas. Work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm.

• Read and interpret tape measures, blueprints, and work orders
• Operate and maintain cutting equipment (band saws, horizontal saws) safely and efficiently
• Learn and set up, run, and adjust lasers/CNC machines as needed
• Assist in machine shop and assembly functions
• Perform quality checks on cut parts to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives

• Experience reading a tape measure and basic shop drawings
• Hands‑on experience operating band saws or horizontal saws

• Prior tube bending experience
• Familiarity with laser cutting or CNC machine operation
