VRC Loader

Job Overview

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a VRC Loader to work a 3rd shift position. This role involves loading parts onto a moving production line to ensure production runs smoothly.

• Check incoming materials so production is not stalled.
• Ensure work area is clean and perform necessary housekeeping.
• Use basic math skills for measurements and counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain flexibility with production hours.
• Recognize parts that do not meet specifications and reject bad materials.
• Stand at the work station for long periods.
• Lift up to approximately 40 pounds.
• Follow and adhere to the dress code.
• Comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
• Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent

• 6 months experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and react to changing priorities.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Able to maintain a safe working environment conducive to productivity.
• Think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
• Work side by side with other Loaders.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
• Good understanding of quality control.
