John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions Company, has a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist in Tulsa, OK. This position is ideal for an entry‑level machinist looking to jumpstart their career in a dynamic and innovative environment. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for utilizing gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements and operating precision tools, machinery and equipment, including lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.

First Shift: Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

• Operate CNC machines with skilled precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
• Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
• Must be willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs

• CNC machining experience, including performing machine setups
• Experience operating precision tools and equipment such as lathes, vertical milling machines, and cutting tools
• Experience using gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• 2+ years of experience working as a CNC Machinist
• Experience with 4th‑ and 5‑axis machining
• Live tooling experience for lathe operations
• Experience operating Mazak lathes
