Chart’s Assembler position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products, helping to produce high‑quality manufactured goods used worldwide. This role is located at the Independence facility, 5500
E. Independence St., Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Assist in the assembly of air‑cooled heat exchangers
- Observe and practice safety procedures and policies
- Maintain required production and inspection records
- Operate cranes and forklifts
This position is classified as safety sensitive. Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols. Employees must ensure their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
Physical Work Environment- Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking, and occasional crawling
- Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of material
- Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
- Repetitive hand movements during the assembly process
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with hand tools
- Understanding and use of basic blueprints
- Ability to use and understand various measuring devices
