Job Overview:

As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations on a variety of mechanical components and systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and a solid understanding of mechanical assembly processes. You will work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals.

Responsibilities:

* Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components using hand and power tools according to engineering specifications and work instructions.

* Perform basic to intermediate assembly tasks, including sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and testing procedures.

* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.

* Inspect and verify the quality of completed work, ensuring proper alignment, torque, and fit.

* Operate hoists, lifts, or other mechanical devices to position parts and assemblies.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including completion of travelers and inspection checklists.

* Follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* At least 2 (two) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

* At least 2 (two) or more years of assembly experience

* At least 2 (two) or more years of experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments including torque wrenches, calipers, and gauges.

* Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong focus on maintaining high quality standards.

* Proficient in basic computer operations for viewing work instructions and entering production data.

* Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Core Competencies:

* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

* Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime.

Preferences:

* Experience in hydraulic or pneumatic system assembly.

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Travel & Work Arrangements:

This position will be based 100% onsite at our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility
Must be able to work extended hours as required by management.
