Systems Engineer
In this role, the Network Engineer will support the design, deployment, and overall health of our network infrastructure. You will work with a range of technologies to maintain LAN/WAN and wireless environments, conduct system analysis, and assist with long-range network planning. The position offers the opportunity to manage multiple projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to a stable, efficient network experience for users across the organization.

- Perform telecommunications network analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance across the organization.
- Conduct engineering studies to determine system requirements and long-range network planning.
- Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, hubs, UPS systems, and related hardware.
- Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues efficiently and accurately.
- Create and maintain documentation for network configurations, network mapping, processes, and service records.
- Provide end-user support and training when needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a technology-related field; OR equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in a related IT role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CCNA Route & Switch certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
- Working technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and internet standards.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools.
- Ability to research and evaluate networking issues, tools, and solutions.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- On-call availability up to 10 days per month.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and operate computers, tools, and network equipment.
- Ability to inspect cabling in floors/ceilings and lift moderately heavy hardware.
- May require travel, including occasional overnight stays.
