Pipe Fitter — Weekend Shifts

Job Description

Pipe Fitters at Big Elk play a critical role in the fabrication process, responsible for accurate layout, fit up, and assembly of pipe spools and skidded systems. This position requires strong math skills, attention to detail, and experience working with cranes and forklifts in a fabrication environment. Fitters work closely with welders and supervisors to ensure projects are assembled correctly and efficiently before welding.

• Layout and fit pipe per drawings and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipe and fittings
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Maintain alignment and dimensional accuracy
• Support quality inspections and fabrication flow

• Experience fitting pipe in a fabrication environment
• Ability to operate cranes and forklifts
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Schedule:

Mon-Thu 6:00 AM‑4:30 PM | OT as needed. Weekend Option:
Fri‑Sun 6:00 AM‑6:30 PM.
