Manufacturing Assembler - Inventory Control

Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE‑traded company (NYSE‑HEI) is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler who performs aerospace component assembly utilizing various equipment and assists in inventory control by issuing parts and kits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes assembly per documentation provided.
  • Works to approved documentation such as repair order, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Use of shop tools and various shop equipment.
  • Document traceability of components used in assembly on manufacturing orders.
  • Review specific tasks daily to issue parts / kits to customer work orders and manufacturing orders and move to specific departments.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts on inventory and help with year end physical inventory count.
  • Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience
  • Hands on manufacturing experience using small hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Previous experience in inventory environment with kitting preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and blueprints.
Specialized Knowledge or Abilities
  • Language:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Basic computer knowledge. Familiar with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Quantum software or an ERP system preferred.
  • Mathematical

    Skills:

    Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Reasoning Abilities:
    Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Organizational

    Skills:

    Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task and prioritize as necessary.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
