Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Large Format Color Print Operator to run various digital printers including our Arizona Flatbed and Colex router. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable to changing priorities, and capable of producing high-quality output under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Operate large format printers and related equipment
- Experience in Prepress workflow.
- Manage production schedules, troubleshoot issues, and approve proofs.
- Select appropriate print media and substrates for each project.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Occasionally assist with deliveries and support other departments as needed.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and basic computer skills; advanced design knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with printing, large and small format.
- Familiarity with various printing media such as textiles, banners, and rigid substrates.
- Understanding color management and how materials, heat, and ink affect output.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Fast-paced production setting with occasional cross-departmental support.
- Must be able to lift and move materials as needed.
- Flexible schedule with potential for overtime.
