Fabrication Finisher - Teflon Coating - 3rd Shift
Do you like working with your hands, taking pride in a job done right, and being part of a team that builds quality from the ground up? McElroy is looking for a Fabrication Finisher to join our Teflon Coating process, where precision, consistency, and craftsmanship matter every day.
Base pay range$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr
What You’ll Do- Sandblast parts to prep them for coating
- Apply multiple Teflon coatings using spray equipment
- Run and monitor bake-out cycles after each coating application
- Follow drawings, work instructions, and verbal directions to ensure quality standards are met
- Keep your work area organized, clean, and running efficiently
- Experience using spray equipment such as:
- Electrostatic paint guns
- Pressure pots
- Conventional spray guns
- HVLP cup guns
- Working knowledge of sandblasting (preferred)
- Ability to read and follow component drawings and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right
Job Requirements
- Able to work 3rd shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am – 6pm. 3rd shift employees receive 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with basic Microsoft Word and Excel
- 2+ years of industrial painting experience preferred
- Ability to pass an annual pulmonary test
- Ability to wear a respirator during painting and coating operations

Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing occurrences while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures. Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
