Overview:
Hayden Industrial is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations for our facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role is critical to ensure efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting project timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and experience in the HVAC or heat exchanger industries.

Health & Safety Compliance:

o Enforce workplace safety regulations and maintain a safe production environment.

o Conduct regular safety audits and provide necessary training to staff.

Production Oversight:

o Plan, coordinate, and control all aspects of production to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

o Manage the production schedule to meet customer demands and project deadlines while optimizing resource utilization.

o Own cost control by monitoring labor, material usage, and overheads; implement initiatives to improve margins and reduce waste.

o Lead, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

o Monitor employee performance, provide regular feedback, and implement development plans as needed.

Quality Assurance:

o Ensure all products meet company quality standards and industry specifications.

o Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to identify and address defects or process inefficiencies.

Process Optimization:

o Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies as appropriate.

o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to maintain or improve efficiency.

Equipment Maintenance:

o Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.

o Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery operates at peak efficiency.

o Work closely with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to align production capabilities with business needs.

o Act as the primary liaison between production and other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

o Interface directly with customers as needed to provide technical updates, resolve production-related issues, and support relationship building.

Budget Management:

o Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

o Analyze production costs and recommend strategies to improve profitability.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the HVAC or heat exchanger industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of air-cooled heat exchanger manufacturing processes and materials.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
