Slitter Operator

# Slitter Operator Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Slitter Operator. This position will be a 1st shift position Monday-Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime as required.
** What you will be doing:
*** Proficient in All Functions Required to Operate the Slitting Line
* Direct/Coordinate Slitter Helpers
* Assist in Set-ups and Changeover as Required
* Perform Quality Inspection Activities as Required
* Visual and /or Measured Inspection of Product for Damage or Defects
* Train with Plant Supervisor Training of Slitter Helpers
* Maintain High Level Safety Standards Maintain High Level Housekeeping Standards
** The skills and experience you need:
**
* Education:

** High School or GED Equivalent

* Experience:

** 2 years in a Steel Service Center / Processing Enviorment
* Other:
** Professional Business Attitude
* Superior Supervisory abilities
* Communication/Cooperative Interaction with Other Employees
* Computer data entry
* Proficient in Use of Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Tape Measure
* Proficient in Math
* Forklift and Overhead Crane Operation
