Hours:
6am-2:30pmPay: $16-$17 Hourly Entry-level industrial role responsible for sandblasting precision tank heads, checking for defects to ensure compliance with job specifications, and maintaining safe, efficient production workflows.
Entry-level candidates welcome; prior manufacturing, shop, or blasting experience is helpful but training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate blasting equipment to sandblast and prep tank heads according to production timelines.
- Inspect pressed tank heads for defects, damage, or non-compliance using basic measurement skills and job travelers, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Move materials and parts safely around the shop floor, potentially utilizing a forklift or supporting team logistics.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and instructions, interpret part drawings/job travelers, and perform basic measurements
