Senior Helpers is hiring a CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA). The position focuses on providing personal care and nursing support under the direction of licensed professionals in various healthcare settings.

• Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program.
• Unrestricted CNA certification meeting state requirements.
• At least six months of CNA work experience.
• Current CPR certification as required by client facility; additional health and screening tests as required.

• Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.

• Comply with ATC and client facility policies/procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Document patient care per facility policies.
• Follow patient’s plan of care.
• Deliver personal care services.
• Takes vital signs and documents per protocols.
• Record patient input and output.
• Maintain competency through continuing education and state requirements.
• Provide non-judgmental care respecting cultural diversity and autonomy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
