Position Summary:

Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharge planning process.

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and implement patient care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and coworkers.
• Participate in discharge planning processes.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.

• Pay:
  Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
• Sign-on bonus: $10,000 sign-on bonus (if applicable).
