Description:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care in the surgical environment.
The position requires working weekdays from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday with on-call requirements.
Travel experience is essential, with a minimum of one year required.
Scrubs will be provided for the role.
The nurse will assist in various surgical procedures, including orthopedic, general, urology, gynecology, ENT, podiatry, and spine surgeries.
Knowledge of robotic surgery is advantageous, as the unit utilizes advanced surgical technology.
The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
Infection control and safety protocols must be adhered to while providing patient care.
The daily census in the operating room averages 35 cases, emphasizing the need for efficient and effective nursing skills.
Wound management and specimen handling are among the critical responsibilities of the role.
This position requires the ability to provide care to adolescents, adults, and pediatric patients.
Professional growth and development through experience in various surgical specialties will be supported in this role.
