OR RN - Day Shift - Travel Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15, Monday to Friday with on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures and providing patient care in the operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist with the administration of anesthesia and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure adherence to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of previous travel experience in the OR setting required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Familiarity with various surgical procedures including orthopedic, general, gynecology, urology, and more.
• Ability to float to like units as needed based on facility requirements.
