Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at a full-service, 180-bed hospital. The facility offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. The hospital has been nationally recognized for patient safety.

Responsibilities

* Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities in accordance with TSSH standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality care to surgical patients.

* Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and culture of the patients served.

* Position and prepare surgical patients, demonstrating knowledge of basic case preparation, surgical supplies, equipment, and concepts relevant to various surgical specialties and procedures.

* Serve as a role model for professional practices and maintain effective communication with physicians to ensure appropriate service and criteria are met.

* Adhere to and comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, practicing within the guidelines of the Association of peri Operative Registered Nurses (AORN).

Essential Skills

* Associates in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.

* Current RN License or Compact License as deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.

* BLS certification to be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to providing direct patient care.

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

* Two years of clinical practice experience in the specific field.

* Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, with no call or weekend shifts. The hospital environment uses state-of-the-art technology, fostering a supportive and friendly community setting for both staff and patients.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Company benefits - active first day of the month after 30 days of employment

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa,OK.
