About the PositionThe TCBH Nursing Department is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct professional nursing services, including nursing assessments, planning, interventions, evaluation, health‑related education, case management, and execution of the medical regime such as administering medications and treatments prescribed by a medical provider.

- Hourly pay: $36.78 (Level III)
- Shift differentials: $3.00/hr for 2nd shift, weekends and holidays; $5.00/hr for 3rd shift

- RN III – Valid Oklahoma license approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and at least two years of professional nursing experience in a field appropriate to the healthcare setting.
- Or RN license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) with at least two years of professional nursing experience in a field appropriate to the healthcare setting.
- Must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to do any job‑related travel normally associated with this position.
- Upon a conditional offer, must submit to a physical examination and meet the requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 lbs and being able to push/pull a maximum force of 25 lbs.

The Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is a psychiatric hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, dedicated to delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centered care. TCBH provides a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that supports recovery and enhances quality of life for adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis, with or without co‑occurring substance use disorders, and who are medically stable.
TCBH is being replaced by the new Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center (OPCC), located in the OSU Academic Medical District in downtown Tulsa. The OPCC will feature 106 inpatient beds, an expanded residency program, and an enhanced range of behavioral health services. Construction is currently in progress.
Drug and Alcohol Pre‑Employment TestingUpon a conditional offer, applicants for safety‑sensitive positions must submit to a urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety‑sensitive position is contingent upon a negative drug test result.
Coverage and Work HoursThis agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
