Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology - Chemo Certified

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology Infusion Clinic role requiring ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification and a OK or compact RN license.

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required
• Full date of birth and SSN required for consideration

• Work in an outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting
• Adult oncology patient population receiving chemotherapy and infusion treatments
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm
• No weekends or holidays required
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications including PO and SC injections as ordered by physician
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Assist physicians with conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures
• Provide patient and family education related to chemotherapy treatment and side effects
• Document patient responses to interventions and treatments, and communicate changes in physician orders
• Coordinate patient follow-up care, including referrals and post-visit phone calls
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Facility maintains strict credentialing and compliance deadlines with no flexibility for start date changes
• 30-day written notice required for early assignment cancellation
• Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
