American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 28-bed cardiac progressive care unit requiring at least one year of experience and an active compact or OK RN license.

• Works in a 28-bed cardiac telemetry progressive care unit caring for all cardiac needs
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6
• Unit supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and dedicated monitor techs
• Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00
• Required to work up to 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required based on department needs

• Active RN license (Compact or OK) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the AHA
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Implements and monitors patient care plans while serving as primary coordinator across disciplines
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and carries out physician and nursing orders
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rules
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
