Job Title

Quality Control Technician

Schedule

8AM‑4:30PM (Monday‑Friday); OT 6:00AM‑4:30PM

Location

Tulsa, OK

General Scope of Job

The Quality Control Technician supports all quality production processes, including pre- and post‑production standard operating procedures. They motivate, coach, and support the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals. They ensure safety policies, quality control testing, and Lean tools are followed and sustained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verification of product quality and adherence to engineering specifications / work instructions
  • Collect and report all quality metrics using Microsoft Forms
  • Communicate defects found during QC inspections to operations team members
  • Layered auditing sign off on critical to quality projects
  • Appropriate use of QC stamps and quality approval
  • Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings
  • Root cause investigation
  • Incoming product inspection
  • End‑of‑Line product inspection
  • Assist operations in team training
  • Sustain 5S+Safety standards and consistently eliminate waste within department
  • Maintain and improve a positive work culture
Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous quality experience preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing on-the-job experience

  • Strong communication skills, ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
  • Swift learner, excellent problem‑solving and training abilities
  • Proactive time management
  • Solid PC skills:
    Word, Excel, Outlook, Pregis systems
  • Customer‑service oriented, fast‑paced work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Accountable, fair, and consistent; hands‑on
  • Knowledge of team and email communications
  • Collaborate with Quality Control Lead on product information
  • Report bottlenecks to the Quality Control Lead
  • Conduct quality tests on products or materials
  • Learn to use programming software such as Microchip Studio, Smart System, Pro
    12Z programmer, IM‑pack, SPM Super‑Pro for Windows
Work Environment
  • The employee’s time will be split between non‑climate and climate‑controlled environments. Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas.
Physical Demands
  • Typical activities: sit/stand for extended periods, occasional lifting 10‑30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling.
  • Vision required: close vision tasks.
