Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a FSQA Manager to join their team. As a FSQA Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for food safety and quality that will align successfully in the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and ownership of Food Safety and Quality System programs.
  • Support food safety initiatives for new products, including leading studies to assess product stability, shelf‑life, and extended run validations.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fluid systems and CIP systems.
  • Participate in employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives, leading teams through change and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations and lead internal/external audit processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of food manufacturing experience, preferably in USDA or produce environments.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience with FDA and/or USDA regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and improve Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with standards.
