Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer quality requirements
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and related documentation
- Lead internal, process, and product audits; support customer and third‑party audits
- Analyze quality data, trends, NCRs, and CPARs to drive corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and suppliers to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and records
- Conduct PFMEA/DFMEA, MSA, SPC, and process capability studies
- Manage calibration programs, gauge R&R activities, and inspection equipment
- Investigate nonconformances, validate corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
- Develop inspection methods for receiving, in‑process, and final inspections
- Support training activities and maintain training records and matrices
- Participate in Management of Change (MOC), risk assessments, and management reviews
- Prepare quality metrics related to scrap, rework, and customer escapes
- Comply with all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE in manufacturing area
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality systems
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1 standards
- Experience with SPC, SQC, and core quality tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Manufacturing experience; fiberglass experience is a plus
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and spend extended time in manufacturing areas
