At Meddys, we value teamwork, accountability, and customer service. Cook responsibilities include preparing meals, managing kitchen workflow, and maintaining food safety. Prep Cook duties focus on ingredient preparation and kitchen support. Dishwashing requires thorough cleaning of dishes, cutlery, glassware, and cookware.

• Set up, clean, and organize workstations
• Prepare ingredients for the shift: wash vegetables, chop, season meats
• Prepare oven, utensils, and grill for shift
• Take orders from wait staff or a computerized system
• Cook orders according to food health and safety standards
• Recommend ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
• Handle multiple food orders simultaneously and monitor incoming orders
• Dress orders for presentation and ensure each guest order is correct
• Deliver food orders to expo staff in a timely manner
• Store all food properly and sanitize and clean workstations and utensils
• Reorder stock and food supplies, monitor other cooks and team members, and assist when needed
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment

• Work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively
• Endure physical demands of standing for an entire shift
• Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and work well as part of a team
• Have high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or related work
• Work mornings, nights, and weekends
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds or more, bend, kneel, and move during shift
