LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR (TULSA) – Safety Sensitive
Schedule: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Wednesday & Sunday off)
Pay: $14.82 per hour
General Statement of Duties: Under general supervision, the Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating a lift truck up to 45 feet in the air to receive, store, and distribute merchandise. The operator will also maintain a clean work environment while providing customer service and following safety guidelines.
Examples of Work Performed- Pull orders, pack and repack
- Load and unload merchandise for customers
- Stock merchandise using lift truck/tugger
- Respond to instructions from Control Booth
- Keep warehouse area clean
- Assist other departments as needed
- Transfer materials as needed
- Maintain assigned aisle
- Put merchandise away properly
- Check daily closing assignments
- Other duties as directed by management
• Ability to lift heavy merchandise up to 50 lbs repeatedly; must pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical).
• Must weigh less than 300 lbs (OSHA requirement).
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Positive attitude with customers.
• Knowledge of merchandise handling, safety, and employment procedures.
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, repetitive motion.
Heavy WorkLifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 35 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
Work EnvironmentIndoor, climate‑controlled. Tasks up to 45 feet.
