JOB-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Offer an inviting atmosphere through friendly and polite gestures
  • Greet customers promptly and provide all customers with exemplary customer service
  • Ensure timely and precise cash register transactions, taking accurate credit card and cash payments for purchases
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer. Count register drawers at the beginning and end of the shift
  • Keep current customer mailing lists
  • Merchandise products for presentation on the showroom floor. Fold and hang merchandise as required. Attach sensors, labels, and price tags
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal of merchandise displays to customers via dusting, cleaning, and stocking
  • Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly
  • Handle customer complaints sensibly using a pleasant attitude to satisfy customers and retain loyalty
  • Participate in periodic inventory of merchandise
