West Texas Account Manager

Reports to:

Sales Manager

Position Summary

The West Texas Account Manager conducts sales in the field via face‑to‑face interactions with both potential and existing customers within the fabrication industry. The role focuses on offering gas measurement equipment, including gas chromatographs, contaminant analyzers, ultrasonic meters, gas sampling equipment, and related instruments. The manager promotes and sells integration solutions and field services as part of the product portfolio.

West Texas, Southeast New Mexico, North and East Texas, and South Plains

Primary Duties / Responsibilities
  • Actively and aggressively seek new customers to build a network of sources, new sales leads, and new customers.
  • Facilitate product training, development, and support for current and potential customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; effectively resolve any post‑sale issues.
  • Maintain consistent and regular communication with existing and prior customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements.
  • Provide regular territory sales forecasts to the management team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; or five (5) years of related work experience.
  • Three to five (3‑5) years’ experience working with measurement equipment in the natural gas industry.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or in a vehicle.
  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
Environmental Conditions

A typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues. May have occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements.
