SALES ASSOCIATE (Tulsa Hills) – Non‑Safety Sensitive

Mathis Home is seeking a Sales Associate for our Tulsa Hills location. The position offers a base pay of $20/hour for the first two weeks of training, after which the pay will become either $20/hour or a straight commission – whichever is greater – for the first 90 days, and thereafter straight commission. This role is open and has no pay cap.

Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, greeting and assisting all customers, completing sales transactions efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming showroom environment.

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed on the showroom floor.
• Work directly with internal and external customers, following up on orders and inquiries.
• Assist customers with product selections, explain features, and recommend suitable items.
• Prepare sales tickets and manage orders.
• Communicate customer service issues to management and collaborate with other departments.
• Follow up with customers via email and phone.
• Perform any additional duties as directed by management.

Basic requirements include reliable, responsible, and detail‑oriented work habits, the ability to stand or walk for long periods, and effective communication skills. Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Employee must be able to lift up to 10 lbs (rarely up to 40 lbs), stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, pull, and perform repetitive motions. The work environment is indoors and climate‑controlled.
