** MSS Security are seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our team as a
** Full Time Reliever
** at Monash University in
** Clayton**. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the campus. You will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, securing buildings, and providing support to students, staff, and visitors.
** Duties include but are not limited to:
*** Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
* Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
* Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
* Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
* Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
* Communicate calmly, clearly, and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.
** Ideal candidates will have:
*** Excellent communication skills.
* Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
* Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
* Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.
** Requirements:
*** Full Australian working rights.
* Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
* Valid Victorian Security licence.
* Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.
* Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
* First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
