TDC Security Guard — Victory Christian Center, Inc.
SummaryThe Security Guard position assists the Security Officer in securing the assigned premises, personnel, members, students, and guests by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.

- Assist in ensuring the security, safety and well‑being of all personnel, visitors and the premises.
- Protect the ministry’s assets from theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations.
- Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance.
- Perform first aid or CPR.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain Victory protocol, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate integrity.
- Perform and maintain tasks with an appropriate level of confidentiality.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably.
- Valid Cleet Armed License is preferred.
- Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Sound judgement.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends).
- Positive customer‑oriented attitude and professional image.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Lift 20 pounds individually and occasionally 50 pounds.
- Standing, sitting, walking, running, climbing, bending, kneeling.
- Sighted with capacity for both color and distance.
- Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner.
