What you will do:

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on manufacturing equipment and machinery using your electrical skills and knowledge
• Create, assemble, and install electronic components
• Perform preventative maintenance and document all repairs and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with other trades and teams, providing technical electrical expertise
• Repair electrical and electronic equipment, including induction heating systems
• Design electrical and electronic systems
• Edit PLC programs for automated machinery
• Manage inventory of parts and materials for electronic equipment
• Maintain and calibrate inspection and measuring devices
• Ensure proper heat control on heat-treating furnaces
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work environment
• Maintain confidentiality of all company matters
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with Department of Labor Certification OR an Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing role
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Good math, analytical, organizational, and time management skills

Physical demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Good vision and hearing capabilities
• Ability to use hands for handling and feeling, and to reach, bend, stoop, crawl, and twist
• Wearing appropriate PPE such as safety shoes, hard hats, and respirators
