Security Systems Installation, Installation Technician
Overview
Primarily, will be installing security-based systems like access control and CCTV. The role requires a technician who can independently perform full system installations, including testing, repairs, and servicing a variety of equipment. While training will be provided on smaller or specialized systems, candidates should already possess the skills and experience necessary to complete full installs without supervision. They are willing to train someone on different systems if the person has a good understanding to pair with some experience.
As the tech gains more experience, the tech will gain more exposure to more fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control systems, with the opportunity to be converted into a full-time employee.
- Install security systems including access control, CCTV, IP cameras, and related equipment.
- Test, repair, and service a variety of equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Progressively gain exposure to additional fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control systems as experience grows.
- Potential to transition to a full-time employee based on performance and business needs.
- Experience performing full system installations and servicing with minimal supervision.
- Active Oklahoma license in Access Control or CCTV is a big plus.
- Strong communication with management, the team, and customers; reliability and accountability in attendance and performance.
- Ability to take direction and coaching; intermediate level experience.
Pay range: $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
