Job Summary
The Water Meter Installer is responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining water meters for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role ensures accurate water measurement, safe installations, and compliance with all local codes and safety standards.

Pay Range
$17- $20 per hr
Key Responsibilities:- Install, replace, and test water meters according to specifications and utility standards.
- Read, record, and verify meter data for accuracy.
- Inspect service lines and connections to identify leaks, defects, or irregularities.
- Maintain accurate installation and service records.
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report completed work orders and any field issues promptly.
- Previous experience in plumbing, utilities, or construction preferred.
- Ability to read maps, blueprints, and work orders.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
