Plumber Apprentice and Journeyman

About This Position :

As a Plumber for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday — Friday, 07:00‑3:30 pm, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As a commercial plumber, you may be tasked with the following:

• Layout and install various plumbing systems including copper, PVC, cast iron, PEX, and gas pipe systems.
• Fit, connect, solder, and braze various copper, PVC, and plumbing pipe, including couplings, valves, and fittings.
• Operate mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and plumber‑specific field tools.
• Test, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems, components and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation.
• Read and Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and Diagrams.
• Licensed journeyman will be expected to direct and train plumbing apprentice(s) when necessary.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required by the jobsite.
• You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor.
• Be a safety champion and return home safely each day.

Pay is DOE $16 - $35 / hour.

• Must have 1‑5 years of plumbing field experience.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.
• Ability to obtain an apprentice or journeyman’s license with the state licensing board.
• Ability to work well with others.
