Assistant Volleyball Coach

- FULL TIME

Reports to the Head Volleyball Coach and is responsible for assisting in the coaching of student-athletes and management of a NCAA Division I intercollegiate volleyball program.

• Assists with organizing team practice and schedule
• Assists with tasks associated with recruiting:
  Letters of Intent (signing), official, and unofficial visits, etc.
• Monitors student-athletes class attendance, study hall, and grades
• Serves as a role model for student-athletes
• Assists with scheduling and team travel
• Assists with strength and conditioning program
• Maintains records of participation and other compliance related matters
• Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of equipment (.e. uniforms, game equipment)
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and use critical thinking skills. Good time management skills, a professional demeanor, and ability to work effectively in a high energy environment with people of other cultures and backgrounds.

• The scope of the position requires travel, weekend and evening work
• Compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations
