The Logistics Specialist (LS) loads and unloads tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents Tire Hub professionally in all customer interactions, maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships.
Salary & ScheduleStarting wage of $20.50 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over the first year. Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day‑shift hours.

- Distribute tasks across general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance.
- Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to/from transport vehicles (trailers, box trucks, delivery vans).
- Select, pack, count, label, and palletize orders following safety standards.
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures.
- Collect payments from customers on COD transactions.
- Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
- Perform pre/post‑trip inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain driver and vehicle logs regularly.
- Comply with all Tire Hub policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training (in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based).
- Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors or leadership.
- Optimizes work processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Remains effective in ambiguous situations and unclear directions.
- Consistently achieves results under challenging circumstances.
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others.
- Communicates effectively, tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a minimum of 2 years of driving history (excluding permit).
- Age 19 years or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physically able to lift, pull, push, and move tires up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Loads, unloads, and places tires accurately and efficiently in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Works up to 35 feet above ground level.
- Can operate a forklift for up to 8 hours per day.
- Familiar with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintains valid forklift certification and driver’s license.
- Lifting, pulling, pushing, or moving tires (up to 50 lbs or greater) under standard operating and safety procedures.
- Regularly standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
- Potentially handling hazardous materials and wearing required protective equipment.
- Operating equipment in non‑climate‑controlled warehouses or customer locations.
- Extended day, evening, and weekend work, including Saturdays, with little to no advanced notice.
- Driving during night or inclement weather.
- Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or be shorter than 6 ft 3 in to meet equipment safety restraints; accommodations reviewed under ADA.
