F2528 – Foods Warehouse Multi-Skilled; 3rd Shift

Starting Pay Rate: $19.10 3rd Shift Differential: $2.50

The Shipping and Receiving Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist at Bama is expected to understand and perform a minimum of two warehouse functions. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality, safe product, minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining a safe work environment. The specialist will work across multiple positions within any Bama facility.

• Understand and drive continuous improvement in Shipping / Receiving and warehouse processes.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately for your area of responsibility.
• Assist in troubleshooting failures and identifying corrective actions.
• Follow quality standards and know whom to contact if standards are not met.
• Adhere to manufacturing guidelines for food safety, security, and sanitation.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the warehouse.

• Complete certification in at least two warehouse functions such as:
  Bulk Receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Clerk, or Shuttle Driver.
• Participate in accident investigations and follow-up reporting.
• Understand and follow the MER and COA processes.

• HSD/GED.
• Knowledge of warehouse guidelines for food safety and sanitation.
• Proficiency in AS400, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Email.
• Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklift operation.
