Job Description FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring that quantities are accurate and products are available as needed.
  • Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Oversee the receipt of products, ensuring that incoming shipments match purchase orders and are accurately recorded.

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring that quantities are accurate and products are available as needed.
  • Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Oversee the receipt of products, ensuring that incoming shipments match purchase orders and are accurately recorded.
Data Analysis And Reporting
  • Utilize inventory management software to track inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, including key metrics such as turnover rates, shrinkage, and obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Process Improvement
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.
Compliance And Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including adjustments, transfers, and disposals.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and inventory reviews.
Coordination And Communication
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Provide training and support to team members on inventory management practices and software.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
