Operations Manager, Administrative Management
Moore Digital Print and Mail Center, Tulsa is looking for a warehouse supervisor to oversee warehouse staff.
Job SummaryThe role of a Warehouse Supervisor is to assist in coordinating all daily warehousing activities. This position will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with training, assigning, scheduling, and communicating job expectations.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Oversee warehouse associates.
- Provide leadership, knowledge, and skills to clerks.
- Monitor inventory as directed by management.
- Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Complete direct physical inventory, cycle counts, random or received audits and reconciliations.
- Document and report damaged product.
- Proactively alert manager to any potential issues that would negatively impede inventory control.
- Train clerks on proper time‑keeping responsibilities, demonstrate understanding of Monarch system.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping by correctly clocking in and out.
- Assure that the department is a clean and safe working environment.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement process for quality control, productivity, and operating procedures.
- Monitor expenditures, implement corrective actions if needed.
- Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
- Resolve routine equipment issues.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Must be able to pass motorized equipment certification test and use motorized equipment daily in a safe manner.
- Computer literacy is an essential function of this position.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Leadership skills and decision‑making ability.
- Create a motivating work environment by working as a team.
- People skills to include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least six months of experience in distribution/warehouse or manufacturing preferred.
- Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Must be able to pass motorized equipment certification test and operate motorized equipment on a daily basis in a safe manner.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
